The Jazz Festival at Cypress Creek Cafe
In it's 2nd decade, this is an amazing annual event that has produced some of
the most incredible musical moments in Texas history. This is a
small, intimate and most enjoyable jazz concert - one of the best in the
United States. All shows are smoke-free with acoustics to rival many
larger "music halls".

Wiener Dog Races - Buda TX - April
This is an annual country fair that has national recognition because of the
famous "Weiner Dog Races". It all begins with a pet parade and then
qualify wiener dog races on Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the "Run for
the Roses" on Sunday afternoon. There is a BBQ Cookoff and a Chili
Cookoff, along with live entertainment, arts and crafts This is sponsored by
the Buda Lions Club and is a short 20 min drive from Wimberley.

a fun and safe way to view Christmas lights on a walking tour that leads
visitors through over 6 ac. of trails with 60+ lighted exhibits with Ye Olde
Yule Log burning nightly as weather permits. The Trail of Lights is open daily
from November 26th to January 1st.
