ENJOY THE PERFECT GETAWAY – FEELS REMOTE BUT ISN’T

Location, Location, Location!!! We think you’ll agree that the location of our Wimberley Texas bed and breakfast can’t be beat. It’s only a 1/3 mile walk down historic Mill Race Lane to Wimberley Town Square but yet our three acre lodging property will make you feel like you’re off the beaten path. Come stay with us and you’ll see why so many guests are in love with the property. You will feel the stress of daily life melt away when you stay with us.
Creekhaven Inn & Spa is 1/3 mile and at the very end of Mill Race Lane. That third of mile makes you feel like you are a million miles from the daily stress of your life, but you are literally minutes walk to popular Wimberley Square. If you are healthy, you can easily walk to town square in less than 10 minutes or you can hop in your car and be there in two. We’re also close to multiple Texas wine trail wineries, craft breweries, art galleries, great shopping, and outdoor recreation.

A Special Property on Cypress Creek

We think the grounds at Creekhaven Inn & Spa are pretty magical. The grounds are probably the main reason we purchased the inn, and as they say, it’s all about location, location, location. Directly on Cypress Creek, the property is located at the end of historic Mill Race Lane (repaved in 2019, yea!) and has three acres with about 650′ of creek side. The trees on the property are amazing and create a huge canopy over the property. The most prominent tree is a Bald Cypress directly in the center of property that has been estimated to 1000 years old. It’s a popular spot for photos as it has a large opening in the trunk that people can stand in for the perfect hill country photo opp.

3 Acres With Private Creek Access

Cypress Creek is home to two of the state’s most popular swimming holes, Jacob’s Well and Blue Hole. In fact, Creekhaven Inn is only about 100 yards from Blue Hole. Because these swimming holes have become so popular they now require reservations to enjoy them. At Creekhaven Inn & Spa there are multiple spots for you to enjoy the Cypress Creek. One such area includes old stone steps that were reportedly build by the UT football team back in the 1930’s. There is also a wonderful large grassy area with hammocks, fire pit, picnic table and room to play!

SPA & GARDENS

Creekhaven Inn & Spa was originally called Singing Cypress Gardens and the first owner was an avid gardener who built an amazing green house and potter’s shed. The green house still stands today, but without any glass, and the potter’s shed is now guest registration. Even without glass, the green house is cool funky metal structure that is a great place to relax and enjoy the patio furniture and propane fire pit. We hope to one day turn it into the dining room. There were also really cool patios built that converted part of the historical mill race (a water diversion to power Winter’s Mill) into garden ponds. The patio area includes a wood burning fire pit, multiple spots to relax, outdoor dining tables, and a hot tub.
