We’re so excited about this new addition to the Wimberley dining scene. Located at the Quarter Shops, right along the creek off town square, CreekHouse Kitchen and Bar provides patrons with a modern, laid-back dining experience that’s sure to please even the most epicurean palate.
The CreekHouse Executive Chef, Mark Grimes, has over 30 years of experience working across the globe. He uses his experience to help create a truly unique menu that combines quality ingredients for a fresh take on some Texas favorites. The CreekHouse menu features a range of Texas inspired meals that are elevated with what they call a “sophisticated twist.” Guests can start their meal with Hill Country Hummus or Avocado Toast, and pair it with a variety of Texas craft beers, wines, and scratch made cocktails. Their lunch and dinner menu feature several options ranging from sandwiches like the Blue Hole Burger, or unique entrees like the Country Fried Venison.
Of course, no meal is complete without dessert. Luckily, they offer a number of seasonal pies as well as some delicious staples like Mexican flourless chocolate cake and house made donuts served with chocolate ganache and bourbon caramel. Yum! They’re great for sharing, or to have all to yourself. They’re so good, it’s easy to devour them on your own.
As a mecca for arts and entertainment, no Wimberley eatery could go without live music. CreekHouse offers live music evenings and weekends, which adds to the relaxing and airy ambience. It’s a great spot for a casual romantic dinner or for hanging out with friends. The owners of CreekHouse say one of their main goals is to serve as a hot spot for both tourists and locals. We have to say they’ve certainly made our list of favorite spots!
