If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines refined elegance with the rustic charm of the hill country, then look no further than Jobell Café & Bistro.
Located on Ranch Road 12, just north of the town square in Wimberley, Jobell offers “French-inspired bistro fare” made with quality ingredients, many of which are sourced by local suppliers. Open for both lunch and dinner, it’s an excellent spot for a cozy meal for two or for a group of friends to celebrate a special occasion together. The menu features several tasty options. The Cheese Croquettes are one of our favorite appetizers, as is the Charcuterie & Cheese Slate. They’re both a great way to start off a romantic dinner.
For lunch they offer fresh salads, sandwiches, and burgers, including a slider made with Mick Family Farm lamb. The dinner menu includes an array of elevated entrees, including the Parmesan Encrusted Stuffed Pork Loin and a Lobster Mac & Cheese made with gruyere and topped with toasted panko crumbs. On Sundays they offer a delicious brunch that’s great for fueling up before exploring Wimberley, or for recovering from a busy night on the square.
They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with a wraparound deck flanked by Texas oaks and a rock sculpture and water feature. Throughout you will notice unique accents such as the hand carved walnut door that leads to the patio and the bridge that leads from the parking lot to the main entrance. Overall, the ambience is relaxing and intimate, and the service is friendly and attentive. A great experience and a definite must for anyone visiting Wimberley.
