With The Feel Of A Boutique Inn and Spa
We are a Texas Hill Country Bed & Breakfast Inn that some might consider a boutique hotel given that we have 16 rooms. We have been told that Creekhaven Inn & Spa is the oldest and largest “Bed & Breakfast” in Wimberley, Texas. Our primary mission is to become a wellness destination while providing a high-end experience for all guests. We have developed our policies in order to meet those goals, while also protecting the livelihood of the inn.
Providing guests with a high level of service is very important to us, however we do not have the staff to accommodate 24 hour service needs. We want to provide great service, but also let guests feel that they can take care of themselves. We try and provide information and instruction on where things are located so that guests may feel comfortable. It’s a balancing act that we hope our guests appreciate. In the evenings, we hope that if you need something that is not an emergency that it can wait until morning. However, while on property, guests are given our cell phones to text with questions or needs. Your enjoyment is the utmost importance to us.
2 night minimum required on most weekends ~ 3 night minimum on Holiday weekends.
All rates are based on double occupancy – Extra Persons @ $25.00/per person.
As of April 15, 2021 we require a deposits for all stays. The deposit amount will be the first night plus any amenities/packages purchased.
Room charges will be processed at the time of check in and any balances, retail purchases, gratuities can be charged at the time of departure.
Method of payment may be changed or/and split at any time. We accept all major credit cards and cash (checks on occasion).
If paying with a gift certificate, the gift certificate must be provided and validated at the time of the reservation and a valid credit card must also be on file for any charges in excess of the gift certificate.
Limited third-party gift certificates are accepted. Please check with us to verify.
Weekends are subject to a two-night minimum.
Shortening stays on weekends are not permitted or cancellation policy applies.
Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum booking and same cancellation policies apply.
When cancelling outside of 2 weeks/14 days of arrival date, a cancellation fee of $50.00 will be retained and the balance refunded to the card on file.
When cancelling within 2 weeks/14 days of arrival date, a cancellation fee of $50.00 will be retained and a gift certificate issued for the balance of the deposit valid for up to 12 months of the cancellation date.
Cancellations within 2 days/48 hours of arrival date (not arrival time), will be charged the full stay, if the room nights can be booked, a gift certificate will be issued less the cancellation fee. Any room nights that cannot be re-booked are subject to the full reservation charge. No shows will be charged in full.
Spa cancellations within 48 hours are subject to charge in full. If spa appointments can be re-booked, a $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged. Spa cancellations outside of 48 hours/2 days of scheduled spa appointment date are not subject to a cancellation fee.
Early departures/shortening stays are subject to the same policies listed above and are treated as cancellations.
Check-in time is between 4 – 7 PM Thursday through Monday (we close the office early at 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday). Check-out time is 11am. If you will be arriving before 4:00 or after 7:00 pm please let us know. We can try to accommodate early check-ins.
Check-ins after 7 PM will be subject to self-check-in. We will email self-check-in instructions to the email on file and leave your key in your room.
A group is defined at Creekhaven as 4 or more rooms booked contingent on the stay of the other guests as well. So, rooms can be booked individually, but if the stay is contingent on other guests staying as well (weddings, retreats, other groups), that is defined as a group. We have a bit of an honor system with this policy.
– Groups will be required to provide a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
The balance in full will be due 60 days prior to arrival date. The credit card on file will be charged at 60 days and an updated confirmation email will be sent at that time.
If splitting charges, please contact us prior to 60 days to execute split charge. For groups the same cancellation policies apply above, however 60 days replaces two weeks.
We do not provide wedding or other group blocks. Reservations must be made to reserve rooms, holding, blocking and any other method will not be accepted.
There are parking spots available close to your room and on the creek side only. Please note that the upper driveway is an easement owned by the neighbor and she has requested that Guests do not park on the upper driveway. The exception is the handicap parking spot by the Garden House. Please DO NOT park next to the handicap spot even though it looks like there is available parking. We apologize for this inconvenience and it’s something that we hope changes in the future.
Your hot, scratch made breakfast is presently delivered to your room or patio seating daily between 8:30-9:15am. Breakfast items include an entree (usually an egg dish such as a frittata), breakfast meat and baked item with fruit, juice and locally roasted organic coffee.
Creekhaven Inn & Spa is a completely Smoke Free property both inside and out. We appreciate your respecting our completely smoke free property. No Smoking of any kind (vaping, cigars, weed, etc.) With our focus and interest in wellness, it is extremely important to us to maintain a clean air facility.
At Creekhaven Inn, weddings are not our specialty. Wimberley has many beautiful venues that specialize in weddings that we would happily refer you to.
Honeymoons, engagements, anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions are more our forte. For those adamant about discussing the possibility of hosting your wedding at Creekhaven there
are a few steps to consider in advance:
1) Have you stayed with us? We do require that the bride and groom have stayed with us and experience our offering to understand what we do.
2) Do you have a wedding planner? If not, we can refer you.
3) Do you have a caterer? We do require approval of all caterers and charge 10% over the final catering bill.
4) Do you plan to reserve the entire property?
5) Have you read our Wedding Policy in full?
6) Have you made an appointment to meet with our team and tour the property?
If you are considering hosting an event, overnight bookings are required to be a part of your event. We have extremely limited parking, which is first reserved for our overnight guest.
We also only have one restroom that is not in a guest room. Overall, we just have limited resources when considering activities that go beyond our standard overnight guest accommodations.

We have amended our policies to reflect the current environment we are operating in. We have pivoted and adjusted quite a bit as a result of Covid 19 and after much research and consideration decided it was time we take a different approach to continue to protect our business, our staff and family.
We do not allow pets. Boarding is available for your pets in the Wimberley area. Please ask the innkeeper for a list of available boarding kennels if needed.
Children over 12 welcome. (Ask about our family weekends. A few times a year we lift the age restriction including Mothers Day and Fathers Day weekends annually).
$25 per stay, available on first come first serve basis – only 1 can be placed in a guest room.
Gas Fireplaces available in Garden House rooms from October to March.
Private access to Cypress Creek, bring your creek shoes to enjoy the water. Just down stream from Blue Hole open in the summer months. There is no life guard on duty on the property. Swim at your own risk.
