Wimberley is known as a mecca for artists. One of its most popular artistic attractions is Wimberley Glassworks. Located on RR 12 on the outskirts of town, Wimberley Glassworks features a colorful gallery of handblown glass art, lighting, and décor. Many of the pieces reflect the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country as well as the changing seasons and are heavily influenced by each artist’s unique style.

Throughout the year Wimberley Glassworks is open for group and private demonstrations and can be used for special gatherings. Visitors can watch live demonstrations in their glass blowing studio Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:30am-3:00pm. Visitors can also tour their outdoor art installations and relax on the oak lined patio. They have many interesting pieces located throughout the grounds, giving guest plenty to look at and enjoy.

Many of our regulars make it a point to stop in every time they visit as the selection of artwork and installations is constantly changing. Their one-of-a-kind artisan glassware makes a great keepsake to mark your trip to Wimberley or a gift for someone special. Visitors can select from their collections of bar and glassware, custom platters, delicate ornaments, vases, and artistic elements. They are also known for designing custom pieces, including custom lighting elements for many well-known buildings throughout Texas and beyond.

So next time you visit us make sure to stop by Wimberley Glassworks. Take in a live demonstration and see their ever-changing collection of handblown glass art and décor.
